A ride to Peterborough
Sep. 29th, 2025 03:25 pmWhen I went offline on Friday I watched The
Rising of the Shield Hero and Dr.
Stone on Crunchyroll and did some more of my jigsaw. I
then had my tea and watched Pointless on BBC1 followed by
an episode of The Wagner Method on All Four.
On Saturday morning I made my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing. I then cycled to Peterborough for the Blind Tiger Oktoberfest event at their new Orton establishment. After returning to the city centre I headed to the Draper's Arms, where I hoped to get lunch but it was absolutely pack as Peterborough were playing at home. Thankfully the city's other Wetherspoons, The College Arms, was less busy so I went there and had their new 'Spice Bag', actually a spicy bowl of chicken and chips, which was really nice; I'll certainly have it again. Once I.d finished I headed to the city centre Blind Tiger and had another third before cycling to Deeping St James where I had a couple of halves at the Thirsty Giraffe. Once home I had my tea and read more of The Penultimate Truth.
On Sunday morning I made my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing and listened to Elis James and John Robins on BBC Sounds. I then did more of my jigsaw.
After lunch I cycled into Spalding and did some shopping before heading to the Prior's Oven where I had a half each of Munyard's 'My Father' and Three Blind Mice's 'Old Brown Mouse'. Once home I did more of my jigsaw before having my tea and making my moves in RavenBlack's Vampire Game. After that I watched The Wagner Method on All Four, two more episodes of Black Lagoon on DVD and read more of The Penultimate Truth.
This morning I made my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing. I was somewhat disappointed to find somebody had down-ticked the latest fifty reviews I'd posted on the IMDb; I don't mind somebody disagreeing with my opinion but it was clear somebody had just gone through the first two pages and given negative feedback. Later I watched Watari-kun's ****** Is about to Collapse, Solo Camping for Two and Theatre of Darkness on Crunchyroll. I then finished reading The Penultimate Truth.
