A day in Peterborough
Dec. 14th, 2025 02:41 pmAfter going offline on Thursday I watched My
Awkward Senpai and This
Monster Wants to Eat Me on Crunchyroll, Game of
Thrones on DVD and read more of Martian Time Slip. I
then had my tea and watched Pointless on BBC1 and the film
Dial M for Murder on DVD. After that I watched Solo
Camping for Two and Pass
the Monster Meat, Milady on Crunchyroll and final
episode of the sixth season of Game of Thrones before
reading a bit more.
Friday morning I made my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing. I then cycled to Spalding to catch the train to Peterborough. Once there I walked up the Lincoln Road to Millfield where I bought a few mostly non-alcoholic beers. After walking back I went to the Draper's Arms hoping to get some lunch but it was packed so I continued to the College Arms; they are both Wetherspoon pubs so the menu is the same. After eating I headed to the Blind Tiger for their Funky Fluid showcase. Six thirds and two tasters later I continued to the Bottle and Board where I had a third of Sierra Nevada 'Celebration'. It was then time to return home. Once back I had my tea and watched Pointless on BBC1 followed by the film Die Hard on DVD. I ten read a bit more of Martian Time Slip.
Yesterday morning I made my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing. I then watched Watari-kun's ****** Is about to Collapse on Crunchyroll and the opening episode of the seventh season of Game of Thrones on DVD.
After lunch I cycled to Spalding and had a half of Milestone's 'Hammerhead Stout' at the Ivy Wall and a half each of Northern Monk's 'Northern Rising' and Salopian's 'Shropshire Gold' At the Prior's Oven. On the way home I did some shopping. Once back I had my tea before watching the opening two episodes of the latest series of Shetland on the BBC iPlayer. I then made a start to a jigsaw I bought in town and read more of Martian Time Slip.
This morning I made my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing and watched Tales of Wedding Rings and Touring after the Apocalypse on Crunchyroll. I then finished my jigsaw; unfortunately one piece was missing.
This afternoon I made my moves in RavenBlack's Vampire Game.
