A ride to Peterborough
Oct. 12th, 2025 03:39 pmWhen I went offline on Thursday I watched a
couple more episodes of New Panty & Stocking with
Garterbelt on Amazon Prime and finished reading Deadeye
Dick. I then had my tea and watched Pointless on
BBC1 followed by the final episodes of the latest seasons of The
Brokenwood Mysteries on U & Drama and New Panty
& Stocking with Garterbelt. I then watched Pass
the Monster Meat, Milady on Crunchyroll and started
reading Hornet's Nest by Patricia Cornwell
On Friday morning I made my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing before cycling to Peterborough. As I was cycling along an insect flew into my mouth; before I could spit it out it stung me near the back of my mouth so I guess it was a wasp! It hurt for the rest of the day. It didn't spoil my day out though. Once in Peterborough I popped to the bank before continuing to the Blind Tiger on Orton where I had a few beers, including Yonder's 'Turbo Slurm', as a fan of Futurama I had to try that! I then had lunch and three thirds at the Draper's Arms and four more thirds at the original Blind Tiger. Thankfully the ride home was less painful than the ride in. Once back I had my tea and watched Pointless on BBC1 followed by the opening two episodes of the latest season of Italian drama Ice Cold Murders on All Four. I then had an early night as I was feeling rather tired.
Yesterday morning I made my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing before watching My Awkward Senpai, This Monster Wants to Eat Me, Solo Camping for Two and Watari-kun's ****** Is about to Collapse on Crunchyroll I then made a start to a new jigsaw.
In the afternoon I cycled to Spalding and had a half each of Leigh-on-Sea's 'Six Little Ships' and Adnam's 'Broadside' at the Prior's Oven. On the way home I did some shopping. Once back I did more of my jigsaw before having my tea and watching two more episodes of Ice Cold Murders on All Four. I then did more of my jigsaw and read more of Hornet's Nest.
This morning I made my moves in the Kingdom of Loathing before watching Touring After the Apocalypse, My Friend's Little Sister Has It In For Me and Spy X Family on Crunchyroll. I then did more of my jigsaw.
This afternoon I made my moves in RavenBlack's Vampire Game.
